5. Multi-dwelling Residences

With the price in properties continually increasing, there will be a trend towards creating multi-generational homes or additional living spaces within an existing property. You may see people pooling their resources to afford a larger property that can be divided into individual living spaces. Adapting homes to multi-generational living will be a big renovation trend in 2023. As the economy shifts, more and more families will opt to live under one roof as children come back or aging parents move in. To accommodate this change, many homeowners will reconfiguring their rooms and floor plans. Some will add separate entrances and kitchens, while others will create self-contained apartment units.
