This home renovation at Fieldend Road began as a humble 1930’s home in need of some TLC. The property, with generous proportions, had not been renovated since the 1970s and featured a minute kitchen. Fixtures and fittings, while charming, were totally obsolete. Additionally, the new proprietors required more space and wanted a layout that was fit for purpose.

Firstly, together with our designer, we added an ample posterior extension, creating an open-plan kitchen and dining room area. We also added a ground floor cloakroom under the main staircase and fully refurbished the generous sitting room. Moreover, we created an ensuite master bedroom with ample storage space in the loft and built a separate, fully functional home office at the end of the garden.

The result is a modern, stylish, and comfortable home built to the highest specs. Most importantly, it is now one hundred percent functional.

Firstly, the loft conversion optimised unused attic space. This created an inviting new bedroom or flexible living area, significantly increasing the home’s usable square footage. Additionally, the posterior extension expanded the property’s footprint, offering extra living space that opens to the garden, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor environments. Moreover, the inclusion of two modern bathrooms, with one ensuite in the master bedroom, provides luxurious convenience and enhances privacy.
